Useful information about how to get to Bormio and Livigno.

First of all, feel free to give us a call to receive the best advice and help you to arrange your trip.

- AIRPORTS: Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, Milano Bergamo are the three closest international airports; otherwise after a longer connection, consider to land in Verona, Venezia, Innsbruck (AUS), Zurich SWI), Munich (GER). You can always fly light and rent a road bike on-site at one of our partner shops.

- If you come by CAR, maybe rented at one of the nearby airports, you will be at least lucky enough to tank at around only 0,9 euro/liter in Livigno but remember that during the winter season (November-May) Passo del Gavia, Passo dello Stelvio, Passo Umbrail shall be closed due to snow; instead, Passo del Foscagno is always open. A good gateway with Switzerland is the Munt La Schera tunnel upon the payment of a toll (link) and only during summer Passo della Forcola is open, too.

- A shuttle BUS can easily bring you from one of the three Milano airports to Milano Central Railway Station (<1 hour, <10 euro). Then get into a TRAIN to Tirano (>2,5 hours, >12 euro). To make it from Tirano to Bormio/Livigno you need to switch to a coach BUS again: depart just out of Tirano train station and get off at Bormio main bus station, which is just at a walk distance from the hotels we cooperate with (<1 hour, 5 euro); you need to change to one more coach BUS to reach Livigno from Bormio (<1 hour, 6 euro).

Feel free to arrange with your hotel a free pick up in Bormio/Livigno or a private taxi from Tirano or Milano airports (bikes included).
